DOCTOR BUGG
PAUL H. RHEAUME, a/k/a
Doctor Bugg, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology-Fisheries and Wildlife Management from Lake Superior State University, Sault Ste. Marie, MI, and a Masters in Public Administration from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo.
From 1976 to 1994 Mr. Rheaume was Curator of Natural Science and Programming at Kingman Museum of Natural History in Battle Creek, MI. He developed and presented educational programs for K-6 grades, enriching the lives of over 13,000 children per year. He has initiated weekend, summer and after school programming for students ages 3 to 10, and implemented a Kellogg Foundation grant-sponsored program to improve pre-school science education in the greater Battle Creek area.
In 1994, ever dedicated to early childhood education, Paul opened and continues to operate Adventurous Beginnings for Children, an infant and pre-school enriched child care center in Battle Creek.
Mr. Rheaume has conducted seminars at fourteen of Michigan's Association for the Education of Young Children Conferences. He is available to present his popular and educationally stimulating Adventurous Beginnings Traveling Science Shows and Teacher Training Workshops for Early Childhood educators anywhere in the United States.
Paul is married to wife Nancy for 30 years. They have one daughter, Jill… and two Labrador retrievers.
