Can pantry/flour moths invade clothing items, lay eggs, and hatch or are they limited to food items?
I had pantry/flour moths in my kitchen cupboard and used the pheromone traps to trap the males but I seem to have some of the moths in my bedroom flying around and cannot catch them with my traps (which only attact male moths) so I am assuming they must be females and I am afraid they might be laying eggs in my bedroom and get in my clothes but I don’t know if they will get in clothing items or only food items. Does anyone know? Help!!
Yes, they may have started in the kitchen, but they actually hatched in my curtains. The curtains were a lacy nubby weave and tiny pieces of them were on the window sill, kind of like dandruff, the webs and hatching’s were in folds of the curtains.
